a refuge, a safe place, a home for kids…

Providing sanctuary

The homes serve as a refuge for youth, offering a safe and nurturing environment among the challenges of poverty, crime, and familial breakdown in Yakima. Here, children can find the support they need to navigate life.

Building families

We are dedicated to putting the lonely into families by following the biblical call to care for orphans and the fatherless. We have a mission to integrate them into a loving church community and foster familal bonds.

Offering guidance

Through mentoring and training homes, Shiloh provides young people with academic and career development opportunities. We are dedicated to fostering growth and maturity in a supportive, faith-based community.

Expanding our current mission

Our primary ministry is our Agape Youth Center (AYC) which is an after-school and summer program where we seek to serve these kids by providing a safe and positive place for them to come to learn, do crafts, socialize and do fun physical activities. However, we’d like to, and feel called to do more!

Embracing the fatherless

God’s people have always been charged with looking after the widows and orphans. The Bible says that God “puts the lonely in families.” (Ps. 68.6) it also says that his family is the church. So, if we put those two together, we can understand that God wants to put the lonely, the broken, the disenchanted, the fatherless into the church. Therefore, we as the church need to respond to this crisis in our society today by learning to love the families and kids in our communities and bring the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
